All of our products are designed in our Nottingham-based studio. We have production labs in England, USA, Netherlands and Australia, where everything is handmade to order – helping to get your order to you as quickly as possible, in an environmentally friendly way.
Since our business was founded in 2018, our ethos has always remained constant. We follow a handmade methodology throughout our creation to production process and aim to stay carbon neutral whilst helping to make positive impacts to the environment all round.

We have production labs in UK, Netherlands, Australia and USA to aid our global reach and limit our carbon footprint. We can get your order to you a lot quicker and in a more environmentally friendly way, rather than flying it across the world unnecessarily.
The Team
We’re a family run business with the dream of sending our products to every single country in the world. When we were initially starting a family, our key priority was having a work-life balance that allowed us to focus on family first.
Mel has always been extremely artistic, with an eye for product design and an inherent passion for home decor. Kris wanted to utilise his extensive digital marketing and web background in a more hands-on way, and he has always had an entrepreneurial mindset that he learnt from his mum. This led us to set up Saffa Designs to join these passions.
The business has allowed us to spend valuable time with our two sons and work around our family life, which we’re incredibly grateful for. Our boys loves to be involved and are Mel’s daily inspiration, even if they sometimes spend more time playing with packaging than actually helping to package orders! We’ll always be there to enjoy the key moments in our families lives as we continue to grow the business.
Partnership with Ecologi
In order to offset our carbon footprint as a business, we’ve taken our environment initiatives seriously by helping to tackle the climate crisis. As a business, we calculate our overall carbon footprint, from sourcing materials to shipping to our customers and we help fund climate projects and plant trees around the world to help remove more greenhouse gas than our own carbon footprint puts in, making us a carbon neutral company.
We have taken this one step further by planting a tree for every order received, so your orders help make our world a greener place.

We’re Environmentally Friendly
We are proud to be an environmentally-friendly business, using recycled and biodegradable resources to manufacture and package all of our products wherever possible. Each of our contemporary wall art frames are hand made from natural wood that is FSC certified by our trusted professional framing services. These framing partnerships all over the world help to support further small businesses and cut our carbon footprint with delivery.
Our art is printed on museum-grade, premium 200gsm archival art paper to ensure a clean and quality finish with a 100 year colour guarantee. We have this assurance in place as we always ensure our products are made with the highest quality, which we’re extremely proud of.
Our Global Dream
We have a dream for our business where we aim to send at least one of our bespoke art prints to every single country in the world – from Alaska to Zimbabwe. We’re well on our way to meeting our target and we love interacting with our international customers and hearing their thoughts on our creations.
