How to Create Contrast in a Gallery Wall

Having contrasting size prints creates an interesting contrast on your wall – the bigger the size difference, the bigger the contrast!

black and white – the ultimate contrast

The simplest and most classic contrast is the one between black and white. The juxtaposition between light and dark is powerful and both shades can elevate each other’s qualities, bringing a dramatic effect to your display. Opposites always attract when it comes to contrast, so if black and white doesn’t suit your space, consider other contrasts such as warm and cool tones, light and dark shades or even photography and paint!
